Chinese Style Shish Kebab

6/29/2016: My Chinese Style Shish Kebab here is more  free style. You could use any kind of meat or combine two kinds of meat. Personally, I like to use more vegetable.

Here are the material and steps I used to make the Shish Kebab of the picture.

  1. Cooked some noodle first. Here I cooked angel hair spaghetti as base. I also used soy sauce, sesame oil and scallions to mix the noodle after it’s cooked and drained.
  2. The meat here I used is pork and shrimp. Sliced the pork and marinate them with soy sauce, little sugar, sesame oil and corn starch for 10 minutes.
  3. Marinated the shrimps with salt, pepper and egg white.
  4. The vegetable I used here are regular white mushroom and dry mushroom, orange pepper, onion and cucumber.
  5. Soak the dry mushroom in the water until they are soft.
  6. Cut all vegetable to square.
  7. Stir-fried white mushroom, onion and pork with cooking oil.
  8. In another pot, stir-fried already soft dry mushroom and orange pepper and shrimp.
  9. Used skewers to build your own shish kebab.
  10. Put the shish kebab on top of the noodle. Garnish with soy paste and sesame seed.
