03/02/2018: I have cooked a lot of ribs, but this was the first time to be impressed by the end result of the “Country Style Ribs” that my son bought home. The ribs has more meat on it than the regular ribs. It’s very ease to cook and delicious.
Ingredients:
Country Style Ribs, dark soy sauce, five spices powder, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, corn starch, honey and scallions. Lettuce.
Instruction:
- Mixed well all the ingredients except honey and lettuce.
- Marinated the ribs for 2 – 4 hours.
- Put ribs on the baking pan that covers with tin foil for easy clean later.
- Brushed the honey on all the ribs.
- Put into pre-heated oven of 350 degree.
- After 30 minutes, turning all the ribs over and cook for another 15 minutes.
- Use fork to see if the meat is tender.
- Thick the left sauces with corn starch, adding some scallions.
- Cut lettuce and put them in the plate.
- Arrange ribs on top of the lettuce, pour the sauces on the ribs and serve.
Below was another oven baked ribs dish that was cooked the same way. Only the marinated time is much shorter (2 hours is enough) since there were less meat on the bones. Also, the vegetable at the bottom could be very as you desire.

These were DELICIOUS!! Excited to see the new recipe, thanks for always cooking such loving meals, Mom!
