05/29/2018: Chocolate chip cookies has always been my kids favorite snack when they were kids. Now it’s still my younger son and his daughter’s favorite snack. Here is a recipe my son found that is crispy outside and soft inside and the size is huge.
Ingredients: (2) cup flour, (1/2) teaspoon baking soda, (3/4) teaspoon salt, (2) stick unsalted butter, (1 & 1/2) cup brown sugar, (1) egg, (1 & 1/2) teaspoon vanilla extract, (2) tablespoon water, (6) oz. bitter- sweet chocolate.
Instructions:
- Mix flour and baking soda and salt.
- Soft butter, beat it with sugar, egg, vanilla and water.
- Add flour, then add chocolate.
- Form dough into 3 & 1/2 oz. (1/3 cup each) balls (about 10).
- Put the balls into freezer 15 minutes before baking.
- Turn over on to 350 degree.
- Put 4 balls into oven, bake 12 -15 minutes until the surface turn brown.
- Cool down the chocolate cookies on a wire rack.
