Grilled Cheese and Avocado Sandwich

05/09/2018: This is a very simple and easy to make sandwich which is also my younger son’s favorite sandwich as a meal.

Ingredients: (2) pieces bread (here I used my homemade sesame honey bread), butter, Tillamook Mexican 4 cheese, lime, celery salt and avocado.

Instructions: 

  1. Cut avocado open, take out the core, peel the skin and sliced the avocado.
  2. Cut lime, squeeze juice on avocado, then add some celery salt (or just salt) to it.
  3. Butter the non-sticky pan, put the bread into pan at low heat.
  4. Turn the bread, put shredded cheese on the warm surface of both pieces of bread.
  5. Put sliced avocado on top of one piece bread with cheese.
  6. Add the other piece of bread with cheese on top of the bread with cheese and avocado, then flip the whole sandwich.
  7. Add more butter in the pan to make sure both pieces of bread turn nicely brown.
  8. Take it out and cut from corner to corner and serve.
